Our History

Wiggle started out as Butlers Cycles, a small independent bike shop established in Portsmouth, UK in 1920. In 1999, Butlers Cycles went online with the launch of wiggle.co.uk.

By focusing on providing unmatched value and great customer service, Wiggle rapidly took off in the UK and soon began expanding around the globe. We have now grown to become a global leader in the online retail of equipment for cycling, running and swimming, selling to over 70 countries in 10 languages and 14 currencies.

We occupy over 85,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and stock over 2 million items!

What will you be doing:

Working as part of the Customer Service team, you will be responsible for helping to maintain CRC’s global service levels across all media and contact channels. You will be supporting customers via contact sources of pre-sale, during-sale and after-sale queries related to all products, brands and services.

What hours will I work?

4 Days a week on a 4 week rotating shift pattern, 10 hour shifts between the hours of 06:00 - 21:00

Working 2 in 4 weekends

Duties:

  • Ensure customer queries are answered promptly and completely via both Chat and Email.
  • Monitoring, responding and resolving customer queries on Social media.
  • Monitoring and responding to customers reviews across various platforms.

Replenisher

Wiggle CRC are looking for an enthusiastic Replenisher to manage the stock levels at the correct level to achieve or beat the sales forecasts.  You must have a good understanding of the supply base and manage the placement of product orders, and inbound stocks.  Customer product availability is paramount, and a good understanding of the product sale profiles is desirable. 

You will own the overall stock levels in the business and maintain this at the most efficient level to optimise product availability.  You must challenge and constantly improve the supplier efficiencies such as improved lead times, lower MOQ’s, more efficient pack sizes etc. 

What will I be doing?

  • Placement of purchase orders / stock call off’s from the supply base
  • Working to improve the overall replenishment parameters from the suppliers (such as lead times, MOQ’s etc)
  • Ensuring deliveries are on time and in full
  • Liaising with the supply base to gain accurate and honest communications
  • Working closely with colleagues in Operations and Goods In to ensure an efficient supply chain
  • Maintaining replenishment system parameters accurately
  • Resolve supplier issues efficiently and effectively

What experience would we like you to have?

  • We are looking for someone ideally from a retail background looking to start their career within Merchandising, however this is not essential
  • Enthusiastic and determined

What will I be doing?

What will I be doing?

The Financial Accountant has overall responsibility for the preparation, accuracy and compliance of the group’s annual financial statements and consolidation prepared under IFRS, as well as the monthly accounting duties in a range of areas including the Group’s debt and holding companies and oversight of the month end process for smaller trading entities. The Financial Account will also provide key support to the Group Financial Reporting & Tax Manager for the monthly UK, EU and AUS VAT/GST returns as well as ongoing tax and legal requirements of the Group. In addition, the Financial Account will prepare the weekly Cashflow forecast for circulation to the Executive Board.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • The Mapil Topco Limited Group includes 17 legal entities spanning 5 countries, including 6 trading entities. In addition to the Group consolidated accounts, there are two sub-consolidations prepared for banking purposes
  • Line managing an Assistant Financial Accountant
  • Project work consisting of the Group’s strategic and regulatory requirements, including the implementation of a customs warehouse, making tax digital, and expansion into a range of territories
  • Preparation of the UK annual financial statements of the Group under IFRS/FRS 101, including the Mapil Topco consolidated accounts and the Mapil Midco 2 non-statutory sub-consolidation
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Month end accounting for the 5 UK holding entities (investment and debt companies).
  • Month end consolidation of the group, including preparation and maintenance of all consolidation and elimination journals
  • Compilation of the WiggleCRC and Group Balance Sheet folders and first review of submitted reconciliations. Preparation of Creditor and Prepayment reconciliations for WiggleCRC
     

What experience would we like you to have?

  • ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
  • Experience of large group consolidations with multiple elimination and consolidation adjustments
  • Application of IFRS in areas such as Business Combinations and Financial Instruments
  • Ideally experience in the Retail or FMCG sectors
  • Ability and desire to turn theory into practice in a range of areas, including VAT and Corporation Tax

Online Marketing Manager

What will I be doing?

The Online Marketing Manager is a key role in driving the growth of Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles websites across AU & NZ. Working for the top tri sports retailer in Britain, and a major international player, this role will have responsibility for maximising profitability through the growth of sessions, revenue and market share across a variety of online sales promotion channels inhouse, primarily Paid Search and Shopping but also including Organic, Affiliates, and Remarketing.   

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for Australia and New Zealand’s Sales Promotion budget of approx. £1.7m
  • Own traffic, revenue and profit targets for AU and NZ markets, which accounts for approx. 10% of total group revenue
  • Create, own and deliver an online marketing plan and maximise sales and profitability
  • Build and optimise paid search campaigns for WiggleCRC
  • Work with the AU/NZ Site Merchandiser & Marketing Manager to ensure traffic generating opportunities are maximised
  • Regular analysis of campaign performance against targets and report back to the team / wider business
  • Influence content plan to help grow organic traffic
  • Finance management – PO’s, receipting and budget tracking

What experience would we like you to have?

  • 1+ year paid search experience
  • Experience in using Online Marketing platforms (such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords)
  • Understanding of how search engines work and interact with websites
  • Some experience of bid management tools is a plus
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Budget management

What will I be doing?

Working for the top tri sports retailer in Britain, and a major international player, this role will have responsibility for maximising profitability through the growth of sessions, revenue and market share across a variety of online sales promotion channels inhouse, including Paid Search, Google Shopping, Affiliates and Remarketing.                                             

You will also…

  • Execute paid search, shopping, affiliate and remarketing campaigns for WiggleCRC
  • Create, own and deliver an online marketing plan
  • Maximise sales and profitability by identifying opportunities to achieve revenue growth and efficiency targets as well as drive new customers
  • Build and optimise paid search, including shopping, campaigns for WiggleCRC
  • Develop and optimise affiliate programs
  • Regular analysis of campaign performance against targets and report back to the team / wider business
  • Support the other English language accounts when required

What experience would we like you to have?

  • 1+ year paid search experience
  • Experience in using Online Marketing platforms (such Google Analytics, Google Adwords)
  • Understand how search engines work and interact with websites
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Budget management
  • Analytical approach to interpreting and manipulating data

WiggleCRC are looking for a passionate Senior Systems Administrator to join the IT team!

You will support IT Operations as a senior member of the Production Services Team, managing and maintaining IT services and network infrastructure across the WiggleCRC business and to be a leading 3rd line technical resource. You are accountable for ensuring IT can meet all SLAs for incidents, requests and up-time for any services that are time dependant and maintain the PCI environment.

What will I be doing?

  • The team supports and maintains services for 4 offices, 3 datacentres and 3 warehouses.
  • Support/manage and monitor over 350 servers, physical and virtual.
  • Support/manage and monitor over 50 network devices.
  • Support and monitor the Wiggle website, which is a 24/7/365 critical service.
  • The Production Service Team support all user journeys: Customer, Supplier, Product, IT, HR and Finance.   
  • Multiple environments, including Production, Pre-Prod and DR on physical, virtual and cloud platforms.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Fulfilling a senior technical role in the Production Services team, providing support to the business and knowledge-transfer to team-members in their daily work and activities.
  • Providing detailed 3rd line technical advice and researching, recommending and implementing technical solutions to fit business requirements.
  • Providing proactive day to day support and administration for all infrastructure and services, including servers, storage and networks.
  • Liaising with 3rd party vendors and managed service partners to deliver a highly available always-on service.
  • Managing incidents, service requests and following the change management process for Production Services team.
  • Managing, tracking and trouble-shooting issues, change controls and live fault escalations.
  • Maintaining a high level of availability of services and minimising the risk of exposure to system downtime through continual monitoring of key systems.
  • Improving process development, documentation and knowledge dissemination.
  • Provision of out of hours support.
  • Making recommendations for system improvements optimisations and efficacies.
  • Liaise closely with internal/external contacts to monitor and maintain current infrastructure while driving new technical projects forward.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a third-line technical support role.
  • Experience and knowledge of supporting and maintaining an e-commerce platform including Windows, IIS, .Net framework, Certificate management etc.
  • Experience and knowledge of supporting and maintaining an Active Directory-based Wintel environment including Group Policy, Active Directory Domain Services, DFSR and so forth.
  • Experience and Knowledge of supporting and maintaining an enterprise Network, including load balancers, firewalls, VPN, Cisco routers and switches.
  • Experience and Knowledge of supporting and maintaining VMware virtualised platforms.
  • Experience supporting messaging systems such as Exchange and Office 365
  • Experience supporting enterprise storage arrays, including DELL, HP, EMC, various models.
  • Ability to manage priorities within small team
  • Experience and Knowledge of using and configuring enterprise monitoring solutions, such as Solarwinds.

What will I be doing?

You will be visually connecting with the customer base and audience via the website and email, providing creative solutions to the Marketing department and the business as whole, across all channels including web, email and ATL advertising.

You will work closely with Category Marketing, International Marketing, Brand and Ecommerce teams, and will help produce the best visual representation of what key messages these teams are trying to advertise, and help tailor it across 13 languages sites, emails and ATL channels.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Design content across all of Wiggle’s sites and emails.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered to agreed timescales, scheduled and free of errors.
  • The creative theme should be in line with the brands current brand guidelines.
  • Translations and localized versions of banner should be created and distributed effectively.
  • Contribute to the overall marketing strategy by providing honest, insightful and constructive feedback to the team.
  • Pass on knowledge and skills to other team members.
  • Own and manage the BAU workflow relating to one channel e,g site, email, ATL. Delegate where necessary.
  • Effectively assess code to deliver site improvements and efficiencies.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree level qualifications in Web Design or Graphic Design.
  • Strong commercial experience of HTML5, CSS3 development.
  • Experience in banner design and commercial messaging.
  • A strong design portfolio working with Adobe products.
  • Awareness of the challenges with online retail with strong commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work in a close team in a dynamic working environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple workloads simultaneously and perform under pressure.
  • Ability to negotiate and delegate
  • A level of spontaneity and technical confidence.

We are looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our fun loving and highly professional team based at our office in Mallusk. Our Service Desk team support over 1000 Wiggle CRC staff and deal with on average 25 queries each, per day, in order to allow our business to run smoothly.

What will I be doing?

Our IT Service Desk is an integral part of the Wiggle CRC business and acts as a gateway for IT users to engage with the IT department. The work completed within this team ensures that all staff at Wiggle CRC have what they need to perform within their role.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Performing first time fix on incidents raised to the team in a professional manner.
  • Provide first line telephone and ticket-based IT and application support to the Wiggle business
  • Performing service requests raised to the team including accounts set up, software installations and physical desk moves.
  • Manage the change management process and attend a Change Acceptance Board when required.
  • Pro-actively identify problems and trends and propose solutions and recommendations to optimise systems performance and stability.
  • Renew or procure services on behalf of the IT department where required by following the purchase order process
  • Provide reports on IT performance to senior members of the Wiggle business.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Windows 7 and Windows 10 administration experience.
  • Basic network and / or database skills (SQL)
  • Active Directory and Office 365 exposure.
  • Sharepoint
  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a willingness to deal directly with users either by phone or face to face.
  • Excellent written skills are essential

Who we're looking for:

A dynamic, forward thinking and commercially astute attitude is required to succeed in this role. Confidence in managing stakeholders internally and externally to drive volumes and reward for the business.

Project Manager

WiggleCRC are currently on the lookout for a strong Project Manager to join the team on a permanent basis in Portsmouth!

What will I be doing?

You will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of 2 - 3 projects identified by the business at any one time starting from concept creation through to early life support. You will be responsible for delivering both tactical and strategic change to the customer-facing ecommerce websites, internal business systems and processes.

You will also:

  • Design and maintain the project plan within MS Project or other agreed method. Assigning and tracking the tasks necessary to achieve each stage of the project;
  • Engage and manage project resources, both from the business and within IT to ensure project is kept on track;
  • Capture and tightly manage project budget, both external and internal resource spend;
  • Create and update resource plans, highlighting conflicts to Project Sponsor and PMO Manager in advance of conflicts;
  • Manage change requests to ensure delivery timelines are not blindly impacted and business value is assessed.
  • Complete project close, holding lessons learned workshops and handovers to business owners and IT Support and to evaluate the success of the project and the business learnings;

What experience would we like you to have?

  • You will have experience of working within an Agile software development environment.
  • You will have experience of delivering business change projects, involving process improvement.
  • You will have experience of working on multiple projects concurrently and will be able to manage the priorities within your workload.
  • You will have good general IT skills but will also be able to talk to technical team members about more complete technologies.
  • You will have great communication and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of business and IT teams.
  • You will have excellent organisational, planning and time management skills and have experience in budget control.
  • Experience of working on ecommerce / front end projects would be an advantage;
