French Translator

Job Title: French Translator 

Location: Portsmouth

Position type: Permanent 

 

This is a full time permanent position based in our Portsmouth office 

 

What will I be doing?

You will be working as part of the translation team and provide support for the customer service team when/if necessary. As a WiggleCRC translator, you will be responsible for translating everything for your local TLD: website interface, marketing and digital content, technical products, help pages.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Translate website contents, product descriptions and marketing and digital contents
  • Understand and learn WiggleCRC products
  • Make sure the Translation Memory (TM) is organised and up-to-date
  • Make sure the glossary/termbase is organised and up-to-date
  • Assist the customer service team with incoming email and phone queries from customers
  • Any translation and communication in any other foreign language as required by WiggleCRC

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Native standard of French as well as English
  • Degree in translation or equivalent experience

Business Analyst

Wiggle CRC are looking for a Business Analyst to analyse, design and document solutions to meet the needs of business objectives. Fancy taking on the challenge? Great! Please read on…

 

What will you be doing?

As a Business Analyst, you will analyze, design and document solutions to meet the business objectives, support the in-house and remote development teams in the delivery of the solution and coordinate UAT and business-readiness tasks.

Although you will be required to work in all aspects of the business, this role should have specific understanding of finance processes and Oracle Financial applications would be a benefit.

Context:

As part of the Delivery team you will engage in delivery of both strategic and small change to the Wiggle systems. The scope of work incorporates all infrastructure, Applications and customer-facing websites.

Accountabilities:

  • Work with business teams to identify, understand, prioritise and document business requirements, systems impacts and acceptance criteria.  Collate and analyse performance data to ensure informed decisions.
  • Assists in the analysis of stakeholder objectives, and the underlying issues arising from investigations into business requirements and problems and identifies options for consideration.
  • Works iteratively with stakeholders, to identify potential benefits and available options for consideration, and in defining acceptance tests.
  • Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organisation.
  • Support the development team to write scenarios / user stories / acceptance tests, agree work packages / sprints and produce estimates.
  • Identify any business readiness tasks required to support delivery.
  • Verify and accept the delivered work packages ensuring the development fulfils the business requirements.  Provide support to the test team and business teams to complete functional and acceptance testing.
  • Prepare the handover of products to the business and support teams through showcases and by documenting any business processes changes and producing user guides.
  • Track and report on task progress.

 

 

 

Who are we looking for?

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrate experience of working in a Business Analyst role, preferably within the retail industry, specifically ecommerce channels.
  • Experience of working within an Agile / Scrum project environment.

 

Finance Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • You will have a good understanding of ERP systems from a finance perspective
    • Specific knowledge and experience of Oracle Cloud Financial applications will be desirable
  • You will have a good understanding of the underlaying finance business process in the areas:
    • Payment Gateway / Cash Management & Treasury

    • General Ledger
    • Stock Ledger

 

Competencies:

eCommerce Product Owner

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Product Owner to join the team in Portsmouth.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Senior Product Owner, Wiggle CRC, you will work day-to-day with the UX and UI teams and Insights.  You will be part of project teams made up of developers, business analysts, project managers and designers

You will own customer experience across Chainreactioncycles.com and the international sites.  Working within the Ecommerce team, with UX and Insights teams to generate a deep understanding of customer behavior and customer needs and prioritising these in to a web development backlog that delivers maximum business value and ROI from our web development teams.

The product owner works with architects, product marketing, business analysts, and development teams to ensure that business goals and user needs are met with each webs release. 

The Product Owner is accountable for the design, usability, quality and delivery of a product or feature. The PO is the key decision maker on priorities and design decisions and works to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle. 

The Product Owner understands both the engineering and business side of the product release and is ultimately responsible for representing the end user’s needs.

What will you be doing?

As a Buyer you must be able to understand and operate within the agreed Merchandisers Range Framework, selecting the most appropriate suppliers, products, and negotiate industry leading prices and terms, and work with the Buying Assistant to set up all products with the correct data in a timely manner.

Strong negotiation skills are essential to obtain the best possible cost prices, and supplier terms to enable Wiggle to offer the best prices to the customer.The Buyer should be looking to on board new Suppliers, Brands and Products, at low risk using strong negotiation skills.

Our IT organisation is specially organised to expect and respond to multiple priorities and business initiatives. We have three key working streams; continuous improvement, innovation and business change each stream is given equal importance, but aligned with our IT values of hygiene, quality and value at its heart.

As a Wiggle IT Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on the Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles technology platforms, with the autonomy to move between the IT Development as well as the Infrastructure and Operations departments.

Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles make up the world’s largest Cycle, Run, Swim and Tri ecommerce business, serving over 2 million customers across 75 countries worldwide.

Wiggle B&M Graduate - Start Date: Monday 7th September 2020

Our B&M team is the heart of the company.

Driving profitable decisions on what products we buy, how we buy them and how we sell them, whilst meeting the demands of what our customers want now and in the future. We liaise across functions from Finance to Marketing to ensure products flow through the business and drive profitable sales.

The Commercial Graduate Assistant will rotate through the 4 key roles within B&M;

  • Buying; supporting the category strategy and purchasing the right products with the best terms. Regularly negotiating with suppliers, building strong relationships and customer offerings.
  • Merchandising; planning and developing the financial plans of the category. Regularly reviewing performance and taking trade actions to drive the business.
  • Replenishing; ensuring we are never out of stock and customers are always able to buy what they need from our ranges, whilst balancing the stock performance of the category.
  • Support; supporting the categories as needed, from invoice issue resolution to setting up new products and creating rich SEO content for the websites.

Head of Group Profit Protection and Payments

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Group Profit Protection and Payments to be based at our Portsmouth office on a permanent basis.

What will you be doing?

As the Head of Group Profit Protection and Payments you will be responsible for overseeing the Group Profit Protection and Payments functions.  You will identify margin erosion drivers, across several operational and customer facing streams, and formulate strategy to mitigate loss and protect margin.  

You will be responsible for the governance of internal controls across Stock, Operational cost of failure, Returns and Warranty to ensure these functions are working within the required framework and within budget.  

You will oversee the Group Payments team to ensure our customers have the required payment methods available at checkout whilst working within payment regulations and delivering the best commercial agreements from our payment providers.

 

Accountabilities:

Profit Protection:

 

  • Monitoring, highlighting and formulating actions to control margin loss across several operational and customer facing business streams.
  • Governance of the stock control process including cyclical count plans, adjustment analysis and monthly review of performance.
  • Working with the Operational warehouse teams to review and govern process with focus being on protection of margin leakage across eBay, Returns and Warranty teams.
  • Identification and formulation of strategy to manage internal and external security risks on the website and internally.  
  • Supporting the wider business in calling out any potential risk in new projects and business initiatives.
  • Formulation and delivery of a shrinkage budget agreed by the business.
  • Discussion and analysis of department performance within a Monthly Review format.

 

Payments:

  • Managing the Group payments team of 2.
  • Supporting a payments roadmap strategy to onboard new payments methods where needed geographically.
  • Ensuring the business is benefiting from the best commercial rates available from our payment providers.
  • Reviewing and agreeing / challenging strategy provided from the Payments team. 
  • Ensuring the business is operating within the required payment industry regulations.

 

KPI’s:

  • Deliver agreed annual Shrinkage budget.

Customer Service Advisor – Bike Product Expert

As a customer service product expert you will be representing Wiggle, assisting and advising customers via Live Chat, Email and Phone with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to provide detailed product information and recommendations and resolve issues.

What will I be doing?

Working as part of the customer service team you will be responsible for helping maintaining Wiggle’s global service levels across all media and contact types. Supporting customers via contact sources of pre-sale, during-sale and after-sale queries related to all products, brands and services.

What hours will I work?

2 Week rotating shift pattern

Week 1:  06:00 – 14:00

Week 2:  14:00 – 22:00

1 in 4 weekends shifts between 10:00 – 18:00

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure customer queries are answered promptly and completely via both Chat and Email
  • Offer technical support on the whole Wiggle product range, with the objective of ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Calling customers when they request a call back service to provide detailed product information and recommendations and resolve issues.
  • Ensure that all communications with customers are conducted in a professional and courteous manner
  • Offering alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring, responding and resolving customer queries on Social media

Product Developer

Job Title: Product Developer (Sports & Outdoor Apparel)

Team Wiggle are looking for a new mid-weight Product Developer to join their own brand team in their vibrant Portsmouth office.

This is a Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity leave.

Responsible for developing range of performance cycle and outdoor apparel within the framework of the seasonal production cycles.

  • Manage critical path deadlines while meeting the business objectives with regards to quality, fit, construction and standards of manufacturing.
  • Ultimately responsible for supporting and overseeing development and production of the garment from concept through to final production and delivery stage.

Right candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3+ years product development experience, working with the Outdoor or performance apparel brand / retailer, across woven & knits.
  • You must be commercial, preferably have knowledge of seam taped garments, down filled jackets, woven shorts and have experience working with far-east factories, developing such products.
  • You already have a good understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, garment fitting and can take a logical and pro-active approach to problem solving.

Candidate should be a good communicator, highly organised, good at prioritisation and good at relationship building and maintaining, as well as accustomed to working as part of a team.

Must be flexible, proactive and able to work to tight deadlines and have a proficient skill set in Excel and Outlook.

Customer Acquisition and Channel Development Manager

Wiggle CRC are looking for an experienced Customer Acquisition and Channel Development Manager to join the Marketing team on a permanent basis! Fancy taking on the challenge? Please read on…

What will I be doing?

You will be responsible for leading customer acquisition and new channel development for the WiggleCRC group.You will be responsible for developing customer acquisition strategy, leading in-house channel management and innovation and managing a team to drive new customer acquisition.

You will also be :

·Developing new digital channels for customer acquisition.

·Developing new off-line channels for customer acquisition.

·Planning and implementation of acquisition campaigns, optimising campaigns through data analysis and A/B testing, and the identification and development new channel opportunities that are ready to be scaled.

·Manage channel development and cover (but not be limited to) YouTube, Google Display Network, other programmatic ad networks, publisher networks, social platforms, content development, press, print and partnership opportunities.

·Delivering channel performance: Building team capabilities, processes and systems for management control that develop and deliver Wiggle CRC channel performance.

·Identifying and capturing growth opportunities: Working with Marketing and Commercial teams to identify growth opportunities at brand, territory and channel level, through deep customer and channel understanding.Develop a robust testing approach to enable continuous iteration and improvement.

Online Marketing Manager - Europe

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Online Marketing Manager to join the team in Portsmouth on a permanent basis. Are you looking for your next move? please read on……  

What will you be doing?

The Europe Online Marketing Manager has overall responsibility for the Digital Marketing in our European markets across Wiggle and Chain Reaction websites. Working for the top tri sports retailer in Britain and major international player, this role is responsible for setting & implementing a localised Digital Marketing strategy, through managing a team to maximise profitability and drive new customer acquisition through the growth of sessions and revenue across Digital Marketing channels.

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own the digital strategy across Digital channels for WiggleCRC’s European markets
  • Responsible for the budget and KPI targets across Paid & Organic Search, Remarketing, Affiliates, Display and other channels as appropriate
  • Manage and lead a team of three direct reports to improve knowledge, skills & performance
  • Maximise sales and profitability across European markets
  • Identify opportunities across all digital channels to achieve revenue growth targets and drive new customer acquisition
  • Grow market share in relevant tri sports markets
  • Overall responsibility for implementing territory campaigns
  • Execution and evaluation of campaigns across ROE markets
  • Work closely with Country Managers to ensure maximisation of traffic generating opportunities
  • Close working relationship with Digital Strategy team to ensure latest technologies and best practices are adopted

Who are we looking for?

Data Analyst

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Data Analyst to join their innovative and dynamic team based in Portsmouth to help fuel continued growth.

What will you be doing?

  • Utilising machine learning abilities to put in place evolving customer segmentation, analytical models, and behavioural predictions to enable the delivery of personalisation across our CRM framework
  • Using clustering techniques along with data languages (R or python) on big data sets to identify customer behaviour patterns and profiles
  • Working with the Marketing team - use modelling & data analysis expertise to produce actionable insight for weekly and ad-hoc BI.
  • Follow outputs through execution; present and explain the method and output and work with wider teams to ensure successful implementation

Job Title: Senior Test Analyst

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit a Senior Test Analyst to join the Team in Portsmouth.

What will you be doing?

As a professional Senior Test Analyst, you will have 6+ years of experience in hands-on test analysis, planning and execution, having started as a junior tester and been in a progressing Test Analyst role throughout.

You will be highly skilled in testing techniques, requirements analysis, testing methodologies and the processes to support them. You will have a broad range of experience testing different technologies, especially around eCommerce, order fulfilment, and high-volume online retail systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Senior Test Analyst: Working inside a delivery stream to analyse requirements, author and execute manual tests, run automated regression and manage defects.
  • Matrix Resource: Working as the test team representative, embedded within a delivery stream, to promote testing best practice.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • A Proven (6+ years) successful track record working as a Test Analyst and Senior Test Analyst.
  • A thorough understanding of the full test lifecycle and the activities required for success at each level.
  • Has experience of different test levels, types and methods and can apply the principles of each.
  • A broad experience of e-commerce architecture and the integration of front and back end systems and how they manage data.
  • Strong experience of end-to-end business process flows for large scale online retailers.

Working as part of the customer service team you will be responsible for helping maintaining Wiggle’s global service levels across all media and contact types. Supporting customers via contact sources of pre-sale, during-sale and after-sale queries related to all products, brands and services.

What hours will I work?

Rotating shift pattern

Week 1 and 2:  06:00 – 14:00

Week 3 and 4: 14:00 – 22:00

 

1 in 2 weekends shifts between 10:00 – 18:00

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer queries are answered promptly and completely via both Chat and Email
  • Calling customers when they request a call back service to answer their queries / resolve any issues
  • Ensure that all communications with customers are conducted in a professional and courteous manner

Technical SEO Strategist

WiggleCRC are looking to recruit an experienced Technical SEO Strategist to join the team on a permanent basis in Portsmouth. 

What will you be doing?

Reporting directly into the Digital Strategy Manager the Technical SEO Strategist will be expected create and deliver a strong, well aligned technical SEO strategy that promotes the organic search visibility for Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycle websites across 20 international variants. This role establishes, maintains and communicates organic best practice with the purpose of growing organic traffic.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify SEO risks and opportunities for the Wiggle and CRC websites.
  • Working closely with the ecommerce product owners, UX and UI teams to prioritise, brief tickets and guide IT delivery on opportunities.
  • Provide best practice advice for our other smaller sites. (including, but not limited to, Blogs and guides, HUB, Insurance site)
  • Ensures organic best practices and search engine guidelines are adopted across the business to maximise organic search visibility.

 

Accountabilities:

Management of organic performance of Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles (and further as needed) sites in all territories

Ownership of website optimisation plans for both brands, including, but not limited to;

  • Website architecture (such as structure, canonicals, href lang)
  • Maximising the indexation of core pages (sitemaps, navigation, hierarchy)
  • Reduce the volume of duplicate pages across the sites
  • Work with wider teams to ensure site speed is within guidelines
  • Mobile considerations across all optimisation opportunities

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Excellent communicator
  • 3+ years organic experience, preferably in multi-site enterprise role
  • Strong analytics skills (experience of using Google Analytics is an advantage)
  • Ability to work on and deliver a number of projects at any one time

What will you be doing?

You will work with the Product Manager and Product Developers to design and manufacture ranges of products in line with brand and range strategy and profit requirements of Wiggle.

You will take an assigned brief and work with all members of the own brand team from product manager to product developer to buyer and merchandiser to ensure products are identified, designed, developed and manufactured to Wiggle’s required standard. Ensuring the products are correctly set up on the website, that the marketing team can create relevant campaigns.

Responsibilities:

·        To design and manufacture innovative and good quality products for our target customer, ensuring maximised profit margins, in line with agreed strategy for each range.

·        To ensure all products are designed within agreed brand guidelines.

·        Present designs in all key sign off meetings and then work with product development team to present samples at all subsequent key sample approval points.

·        Manage individual projects, producing comprehensive CAD packs for factories with supporting documentation & workbooks, ensuring all products are handed over in good time to the Product Development team to ensure ranges are launched on time.

·        Work with factories and partners to develop products in aspects including fit, fabric, trims, ensuring the product works within the agreed pricing, MOQ’s and lead times.

·        Maintain full design records to protect Wiggle copyright and to ensure no conflicts with other designers and competitors.

·        To maintain knowledge in developing markets, technologies and design to ensure Wiggle House Brands remain at the front of product developments.

What will you be doing?

You will work as part of the Customer Operations team, reporting to the Director of Customer Operations, and will be responsible for generating insight and understanding across several business streams which include Customer Services, Profit Protection, Shipping and Payments, driving value and performance.

You will be tasked with creating and reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to track individual, business and third-party performance against agreed forecasts and budgets.  The reporting will be presented back to departmental business stakeholders for review and formulation of actions to address any areas of concern.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly report packs including both financial and operational information.
  • Weekly tasks, Profit Protection and Customer services weekly reporting + Trade slide creation.
  • Monthly tasks, MPR packs / Board Pack submission / Customer Board pack build out.
  • Assist the leadership team in developing and evolving performance monitors across the relevant teams. 
  • Present weekly reporting packs to Customer Services management team for weekly meetings to encourage discussions based on the results to spur continuous improvement.
  • Deliver ad hoc reports when requested by the management team.
  • Analysis of current reporting and re-defining format to provide a more holistic consolidated approach across multiple business streams.

 

Who are we looking for?
