With their Women's Rosso Corsa Free Gloves, the Castelli team set out to make the most comfortable road riding gloves to date. It started by seeing the most common complaints were a lack of padding and discomfort when gripping the hoods. The brilliantly simple solution was to remove the thumb, freeing up mobility, eliminating binding on the hoods for greater comfort and as a by-product saving a touch of weight. They then added their innovative Castelli Damping System to the palm, protecting nerves and easing pressure on the bars. Finished with fresh graphics they look as good as they feel too.

As cyclists, we can occasionally suffer numbness and discomfort in the hands, simply from prolonged periods of gripping the bars. The Castelli Damping System seeks to address this issue by carefully positioning a combination of cushioning foams and protection in key zones across the palm, providing damping from road vibration and increasing control and comfort.
